McKinley Robbins breaks school record for wins on the mat

Greene County wrestler McKinley Robbins broke the all-time Jefferson-Scranton/Greene County school wins record at the Perry tournament Jan. 14 with his 148th career victory.

The senior surpassed the late Chase Flack, who set the previous mark of 147 wins in 2011.

Robbins has lost just six matches in his high school career and sports an undefeated record this winter as the No. 1 wrestler at 138 pounds in Class 2A.

He earned a state title as a freshman and has finished in second place the past two years. He plans to wrestle at Oregon State University next year.  ~courtesy of The Scranton Journal
